We are a friendly, welcoming firm of solicitors with offices in Blackheath Village and Lewisham High Street. We specialise in employment, litigation, residential and commercial conveyancing, lease extensions, collective freehold purchases, planning appeals, corporate work, lordships of the manor, wills, the administration of estates and lasting powers of attorney. We also have a family law department which deals with divorce, cohabitation agreements, children cases, financial disputes, pre-nuptial agreements and much more.

Our Blackheath Village Office is situated on the ground floor and is therefore suitable for clients with young children or with mobility difficulties. Appointment times will always be arranged to suit you and home visits can be organised if necessary.

We have four partners, Beverley Morris, Angela Stanton, Geoffrey Cohen and Richard Hutson. Beverley and Angela are sisters. Between us we have a huge wealth of experience. We also have excellent local knowledge as we have either lived or worked in the area for many years. The firm is a member of the Law Society and regulated by it. We are also accredited with the CQS (Conveyancing Quality Scheme), Family Law Advanced and Cyber Essentials Plus. Claire O'Grady is a member of Resolution.

Area of Business

We have a longstanding yet at the same time growing private client base. We find that a considerable amount of our work comes from recommendations from our previous clients as well as from local estate agents.


In a residential conveyancing transaction, our fees are generally based on the price that is being paid for the property. Our fees commence at £695 plus VAT and disbursements for a transaction. However, we are happy to provide a free, no obligation estimate of our fees for any type of transaction that we handle.
